Muuuusings . . .
Hey you . . .

I write to find peace for the hamster on the wheel that runs busily through my frantic chaotic and stress-filled days.

I write to find some still.

I write to say “this is so” even if it is only so for a moment.

I write to write …

Welcome to my space … I hope you find what you’re searching for, or at the very least … enjoy what you find.

The Torch

Beautiful Marj went online one day last March to nominate me to run in the torch relay.

“That’s not how it works,” she discovered … “you can’t nominate another, you can only apply for yourself.”

Her name was picked!!!  Yippee!

I couldn’t be there to watch, but I thought of her during the time she was running.

She looks more thrilled and honoured than I could have imagined.

Marj’s life is a collective of experiences in service, generousity, and grace.  I am touched she would think of me as worthy to carry the torch.  Random or not, it is so fitting that she was picked.

But I don’t believe it’s random.

It’s karma.

Yay Marj!

When the RBC contest was first advertised, I had the impression they were looking for people who were a significant member of their community and were, generally speaking, great citizens. To me, Norma would be the quintessential representative and I was disappointed that I was unable to nominate such a wonderful woman. But, I was so proud to carry the flame, with the commitment to do all I can to lead a healthy and joyful lifestyle. And to celebrate in honour of and with SUPER people such as NJ every chance I get!
