Muuuusings . . .
Hey you . . .

I write to find peace for the hamster on the wheel that runs busily through my frantic chaotic and stress-filled days.

I write to find some still.

I write to say “this is so” even if it is only so for a moment.

I write to write …

Welcome to my space … I hope you find what you’re searching for, or at the very least … enjoy what you find.

Carman

The 1000ish words this picture says are coming up in a poem I have been working on.

I’m curious though, what does this picture say to you?

I was going to say that it says to me "6 more weeks of winter". Till I saw the car. And the man. And the title. Can't wait to hear the story.

Did you do this? It’s brilliant.
Is he looking into his past, (where he just came from) or did he just get a glimpse of the place he wants to be, (his future) and got out to get a better look? If it’s the future, his car is pointing the wrong way. He will have to turn around and find a bridge across the water to get there. If it’s the past, he needs to get back into the car before he freezes his bum off or before the sun goes down, making it harder to find the vehicle that will take him away from his past.
Also, the sun is illuminating the shadow of his past but he appears to be facing away from it, perhaps refusing to deal with it or see that it is there.
Just some thoughts, after a glass or wine... or two :)

The first couple times I looked at it, I thought of Saskatchewan and wondered if the car had been plugged in. Now all I see is a creepy colonel.

A man standing alone in the cold pondering the car and where it will take him. He has no real destination but also recognizes an opportunity to get warm and possibly find a place he can call home.

I was too busy watching Percy Jackson and the Olympians with a certain boy :) Perhaps you could give me and clue?

Sorry! I ran into some technical difficulties ... so it's not published yet. There's no trick - just watch for the story here.
